Angarsk Petrochemical Company (ANKhK) has been part of Rosneft since 2007. The first petrochemical units were put into operation in 1953; the first products were produced in 1954. In 1957 the plant was converted from coal to petroleum feedstock.

Today, ANKhK is the largest company in East Siberia for oil refining, production of petroleum and petrochemical products. The company is one of the largest refineries in Russia. In 2022 ANKhK reached the threshold of 800 million tons of refined oil.

ANKhK is the main supplier of petroleum and petrochemical products for Irkutsk region and East Siberia. The plant products are supplied by rail, by pipeline and by road transport to 49 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The product range, taking into account grades and brands, includes about 300 items, such as high-octane gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, petroleum coke.

The range of ANKhK products includes more than 140 types of oils.

One of important ANKhK new products of the recent years is the high-tech low-viscosity hydrocarbon base for the preparation of Rosneft Drilltec B2 drilling fluids used in extended horizontal wells drilling.

In 2022 the company started the production of low-sulfur marine fuel RMLS grades 40 and 100.
