Rosneft and the Tula Region Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation To Boost Car Tourism

05 June 2026

At the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft and the Tula Region Government have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to promote domestic tourism.

In accordance with the document, joint initiatives will be implemented in the region with the aim to promote the tourism potential of the Tula region, and the Rosneft gas station network.

The main tourist routes passing through the regional landmarks are planned to be developed and placed on a special information and service platform, Russian Horizons. It enables car travellers to select and plan routes through the places of interest that pass by Rosneft gas station infrastructure.

The parties also plan to conduct joint activities aimed at improving the overall level of comfort for car travelers at Rosneft gas stations. There are 40 gas stations of the Company in the Tula Region.

Earlier, Rosneft and the Tula Region Agency for Tourism Development presented three travel routes across the region that they developed jointly. The presentation took place at the Company's filling station in Tula and was attended by players from the Tula-based Arsenal football club, where Rosneft is the general partner. Car travellers will be able to see the main places of interests in the region including the Tula Kremlin, the Kazan Embankment, the Museum Quarter and Yasnaya Polyana, the landscapes of the Konduki natural complex, the ancient Russian town of Bogoroditsk, and the legendary Kulikovo Field.

Information on driving routes is available on the Tula tourist information portal https://visittula.com/, at Rosneft gas stations in the region, and on the Russian Horizons platform.

One of the Company priorities is to improve roadside and customer service throughout the Rosneft gas station network. This contributes to the promotion of domestic car tourism, as Rosneft's retail network is not only the largest in Russia but also a leader in fuel quality.

For reference:

Since 2023, Rosneft has been supporting the promotion of domestic tourism, and has been developing its own digital platform Russian Horizons: Come with us. The special project enables car travellers to select and plan routes through the places of interest in the region that pass by Rosneft gas station infrastructure. The platform offers three routes across the Tula region: Short Vacation – Big Plans, South Route, and Southeast Route.

Since 2023, the Company, together with its partners, has introduced over 50 routes covering 24 regions of the country.

Rosneft retail network includes around 3,000 gas stations in 62 regions of Russia, and in Abkhazia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and South Ossetia as well.
