During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Rosneft, Vnesheconombank and VEB Leasing signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement on project financing and provision of  property leasing, leaseback and rent services for carrying out Rosneft and its subsidiaries operations.

The Agreement provides for long-term leasing of production equipment  to Rosneft Group: drilling rigs, oil treatment units, headings, delivery and acceptance points, compressor stations and other facilities. The Agreement also provides for financing of production capacity technological upgrade and modernization, innovative technologies, manufacturing of modern and competitive products.  Besides, the Agreement is aimed at addressing such industry-important tasks as enhancement of energy efficiency and energy saving, participation in joint import substitution projects and Rosneft's other investment projects, including those for design and building of a range of modern ships at Zvezda Shipyard.

The overall scope of current and future financing envisaged by the Agreement is up to RUB 400 bn.
