Bashneft Provides Support for Opening of a Refurbished Nursery in Bashkiria

As part of the Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Bashkortostan and Rosneft, Bashneft carried out a major refurbishment and fully equipped the Solnyshko nursery in the village of Bazlyk, Bizhbulyak District.
The single-storey nursery school building, with a floor area of over 1,100 square metres, was constructed in 1987 and had long been in need of refurbishment. With the support of Bashneft, the nursery, with a capacity for 126 children, has been completely renovated. The building now meets all modern standards of security and convenience.
As part of the major refurbishment, specialists completely renovated the rooftop, repaired and insulated the façade, and constructed new entrance areas. Outdated window units have been replaced with modern, heat-saving alternatives. The interior of the building has been fully finished to a high standard.
During the process, the building's utilities were fully modernised. The builders replaced the internal electrical wiring, the lighting systems, the switchgear, as well as the water supply, drainage and heating pipework. To ensure the safety of the children and staff, the facility is equipped with the latest security, fire and alarm systems.
The area surrounding the nursery has also been improved: a new asphalt-concrete surface has been laid, playgrounds and sports areas with special safety surfacing have been constructed, and modern play equipment has been installed.
The development of social infrastructure in the regions of presence is one of Bashneft’s key activity priorities. 
As part of the Company's cooperation with the Republic of Bashkortostan, a total of 17 socially significant projects have been implemented in the Bizhbulyak District. These include a hospital with an outpatient clinic in the district centre (the village of Bizhbulyak), a social and cultural centre in the village of Kamenka, a rural cultural centre in the village of Bazlyk, and water supply facilities. Since 2016, with the Company's assistance, hundreds of educational, healthcare, cultural and sports facilities have been built, refurbished and thoroughly renovated in the Republic.

Over the last five years, Bashkir oilmen have financed the construction and reconstruction of more than 300 socially important facilities.
