Honoring Traditions and Core Values: Rosneft’s Enterprises Celebrate Day of Family, Love and Fidelity

08 July 2026

In anticipation of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, the Company's enterprises organised themed events that brought staff and their families together for sports tournaments, volunteering initiatives and educational excursions to their local areas.

As part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, proclaimed by the President, a series of festive events were held across the country. The family provides a solid foundation, a source of inspiration and support, which helps us to achieve professional success. This day emphasises the importance of family values and embodies respect for the country's traditions and culture.

As part of the initiatives organised to mark the holiday, the Company's staff and their families organised numerous events across the country. Oil workers cleaned up and decorated the grounds of children’s community centres with flower beds, laid cedar-lined avenues and planted ornamental shrubs in public spaces. They organised clean-up days at water bodies, with separate waste collection, and participants using SUP boards cleared the water and the shoreline. In addition, employees used recycled materials to create art installations.

As part of the festive celebrations, charitable events were organised to support large families and children in care: they were gifted with clothes, toys, stationery and board games.

One of the primary subjects of the event was the importance of generational continuity. At Orenburgneft, the focus of the holiday centred on the industry: the children of oil workers and representatives of family dynasties visited the chemical analysis laboratory and the training ground. The young guests gained valuable insights into their parents' occupation and discovered some interesting facts about the history and development of the industry. They were even given the opportunity to undertake a drilling simulation.

Kharampurneftegaz employees and their families participated in educational excursions to local history museums in Tyumen and Ufa, as well as to the Kharampur national village in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. During the visit, guests had the opportunity to understand how the customs of the forest Nenets encourage cooperation in the challenging environment of the North. In Pskov, RN-North-West volunteers organised a games marathon: teams in traditional costumes competed in agility and reaction speed in Karelian games and other traditional pastimes.

One of Rosneft’s key priorities is to foster the wellbeing of employees and their families. The Company's enterprises provide social support measures aimed at strengthening the family and supporting parents with many children. The benefits package includes programmes for the health and leisure of staff, the promotion of physical activity and sport amongst employees and their families, the provision of educational loans, and a private pension scheme.

Rosneft is committed to providing support for families with many children. The Company's subsidiaries offer additional paid leave and payments upon the birth of a child. By the end of 2025, nearly 15,000 families had enhanced their living standards through participation in the corporate mortgage initiative.

The Company focuses on delivering medical support and fostering of the health of its employees and their families. By the end of 2025, over 300,000 workers were covered by voluntary health insurance policies. The Company conducts regular corporate medical screenings. In addition, Rosneft is enhancing its healthcare system, including the introduction of modern technologies to provide emergency and routine medical care to staff, and is developing a corporate telemedicine service at industrial and remote sites.

A key part of Rosneft's social policy is its commitment to supporting corporate volunteering initiatives. Over 108,000 of the Company’s employees are taking part in the Platform of Good Deeds programme. In 2025, the programme provided assistance to over 17,000 children. As part of the Energy of Life corporate sports and wellness initiative, the Company regularly organises various competitions and training sessions for its employees and their families. In 2025, over 96,000 employees of the Company and around 21,500 of their family members participated in these events.
