Over 3,000 Rosneft Volunteers Participate in a Blood Donation Drive to Mark the Year of Unity of the Peoples

In recognition of National Blood Donor Day in Russia, Rosneft volunteers participated in the nationwide campaign entitled “Donor Code: Unity of the Peoples of Russia”. This year, over 3,000 employees from the Company's enterprises participated in the blood donation initiative. Of these donors, 210 have achieved the distinction of Honorary Blood Donor of Russia by donating blood more than 40 times.

The Company runs a Platform for Good Deeds volunteer programme, through which employees participate in various social and charitable initiatives, making a significant contribution to society. The support for the donor movement within Rosneft's enterprises demonstrates the Company's high level of social responsibility.

The donation campaign was supported by over 340 employees of RN-Vankor, 20 of whom hold the Honorary Donor title. Employees of the Achinsk Refinery have also participated in a blood donation initiative, contributing to blood banks in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Regular blood donations are made by more than 300 employees, with 25 of them being Honorary Donors.

Volunteers from the Company's enterprises in the Irkutsk Region participated actively in the initiative. Over 300 employees of the Angarsk Petrochemical Company donate blood on a monthly basis for patients in local hospitals. Approximately 1,500 of the enterprise's petrochemical workers are blood donors. At the Angarsk Polymer Plant, blood donation is a regular activity involving over 300 employees.

A total of 200 volunteers from Samaraneftegaz participated in the initiative to donate blood to the regional blood bank. A mobile blood donation station was set up on the premises of the enterprise for volunteers. In addition, 220 employees from Novokuybyshevsk Refinery and Novokuybyshevsk Petrochemical Company also donated blood. At the Saratov Refinery, 115 oil workers are regular blood donors.

On National Blood Donor Day, over 80 employees of Tyumenneftegaz participated, helping to replenish blood banks in four regions of the Russian Federation. Ten of the donors hold the Honorary Donor of Russia title. At RN-Uvatneftegaz, over 70 people became donors.

A mobile blood donation station was operated on the premises of Kharampurneftegaz, with over 50 employees of the enterprise donating blood.

At Orenburgneft, 50 people took part in the campaign. The Blood Transfusion Centre in Buzuluk also hosted a tour for young people from the Movement of the Firsts, during which the participants were informed about the guidelines for preparing for blood donation.

In the Khabarovsk Region, around 200 employees at the Komsomolsk Refinery donate blood on a regular basis, with over 40 of them being Honorary Donors of Russia.

Specialists from RN-Krasnodarneftegaz and Rosneft-Kubannefteprodukt are regular donors of blood to blood banks in the Krasnodar Territory.

Staff at RN-Northwest in St. Petersburg, along with specialists from the Company's research and design institutes in Tomsk, Ufa and Moscow, participated actively in the blood donation campaign. Furthermore, the work carried out by the project institute in Moscow to foster a culture of donation and to expand the Federal Bone Marrow Donor Registry has been recognised on numerous occasions with relevant awards at the national level.
