Rosneft has announced the results of its corporate volunteer programme, Platform of Good Deeds, for 2025. Rosneft volunteers implemented around 1,700 social projects and events, with over 108,000 Company employees participating.
Corporate volunteering plays an important role in addressing socially significant challenges in Rosneft’s operating regions and spans various areas: humanitarian, social, sports and environmental activities.
In 2025, organising events to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War became one of the main areas of volunteering. Rosneft volunteers across the country organised events with a view to preserving historical memory, strengthening intergenerational ties and promoting patriotic education. Enterprises employees provided assistance to veterans, organised the cleaning and repair of monuments and military graves, and ran courage lessons at sponsored children’s institutions. Volunteers also organized patriotic car and bicycle rallies, planted alleys of glory in many cities, unfurled an 80-meter St. George ribbon.
A particular emphasis was placed on supporting children. Throughout the year, volunteers held over 360 events, assisting over 17,000 children. Volunteers assisted schools and kindergartens, participated in gatherings for children from low-income families for the school year, and conducted career guidance master classes to introduce them to the role of an oil worker. Children from family centres in Moscow were given the opportunity to attend excursions to children’s parks, zoos and sporting events. For instance, volunteers regularly organised trips for children to attend matches of the CSKA hockey club, owned by Rosneft, to the Moscow Zoo, and many other places. Oil workers also actively participated in charitable nationwide and regional initiatives for children, including the interactive educational project Danger-Free City and campaigns such as Getting Ready for School, Box of Courage and others.
The support of the donor movement is an integral part of Rosneft’s corporate culture. In 2025, 88 donor events were held at the Company’s enterprises, with over 8,000 employees participating.
As part of Rosneft’s commitment to nature conservation, significant emphasis has been placed on environmental volunteering initiatives. Over 400 environmental initiatives were carried out by employees across the country, including improvements to public and natural areas, and the introduction of separate waste collection. Thus, the Company’s subsidiaries sent a record-breaking 1,000 tonnes of waste paper for recycling. Furthermore, employees of the enterprises regularly replenish water resources in the regions where they operate with valuable fish species and participate in tree planting. In 2025, the number of volunteers participating in environmental projects exceeded 34,000.
The Platform of Good Deeds programme has been proven to contribute to the formation of corporate culture, the development of team spirit and the ability of employees to make a real contribution to society. Young activists from the Movement of the Firsts have become reliable assistants to Rosneft volunteers. Schoolchildren and teenagers eagerly respond to calls to participate in thematic and environmental projects.
