Rosneft volunteers organised a trip for 100 children from the Preobrazheniye and Vdokhnoveniye family centres (in Yegoryevsk and Kolomna, respectively) to a Continental Hockey League match between CSKA and Amur. The trip took place as part of the Company’s Platform of Good Deeds corporate programme.
This was the first time many of the children had visited an ice rink. The young spectators enjoyed watching the game, which ended with CSKA winning 2–1, and they were thrilled to have had the opportunity to attend a hockey match in person.
Rosneft is making a significant contribution to popularising ice hockey among children and young people and developing this sport in the country. The Company has been the owner of the CSKA hockey club since 2011. Since then, the team has regained its status as the strongest in the Russian league, winning the Gagarin Cup three times and continuing the army’s glorious traditions.
Volunteering is an integral part of Rosneft’s corporate culture. As part of the Platform of Good Deeds programme, Company employees regularly provide assistance to families and children facing difficult situations,
support veterans, and run campaigns promoting patriotism, environmental awareness, and more. In 2024, Rosneft enterprises conducted nearly 2,000 volunteer events and projects involving 106,000 employees.
The Company’s subsidiaries are also proactively engaged in developing ice hockey in the regions of operation. They focus their support on constructing modern sports facilities, organising major sporting events and developing corporate sports culture.
