With the support of Bashneft, a Rosneft subsidiary, a fully renovated children’s creativity centre has opened in the village of Verkhneyarkeyevo in the Ilishevsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The additional training facility, which covers an area of over 800 m², was renovated as part of the cooperation agreement between Rosneft and the region.
The Children’s Creativity Centre is housed in a building dating back to 1973. As part of the project, the dance and assembly rooms were refurbished and fitted with modern upholstered chairs, a stage and a speech therapist’s office, as well as other rooms. All the technical systems have been completely renewed and the roof, floors and façade have been replaced. The two-storey building is now accessible to people with disabilities. Further improvements are planned for spring 2025, including new tarmac paths, flower beds and lawns.
The Children’s Creativity Centre offers 19 creative groups in various fields to 860 children. These include design, robotics, programming, English, ecology, music, art, theatre, pottery and other groups. At the centre, children receive additional training and take part in various district and national-level competitions, exhibitions and concerts.
