Rosneft organised a large-scale careers event to help students at the Oil and Gas Institute of the Siberian Federal University with their future careers. Rosneft Day saw the participation of approximately one thousand students and teachers. Employees of the Company’s enterprises operating in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Bashkortostan, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District – Yugra and the Irkutsk Region, told potential employees about job opportunities.

Oil industry professionals delivered lectures and masterclasses on various topics related to the oil and gas industry, and organised competitions and quizzes for students. The students learnt about Rosneft’s achievements and its future prospects, as well as the industry’s most in-demand professions.

One of the key events was a job fair, where students could receive advice on employment prospects and find out about targeted training and internship opportunities, including those at remote sites of Vostok Oil’s large-scale project. Young specialists from RN-Vankor (the operator of the Vostok Oil project) informed guests about the enterprise’s professional training and mentoring programmes, opportunities to participate in research activities, and how it organises comfortable living conditions for shift workers. The oil workers also organised an interactive game to assess the professional skills of their future colleagues.

Vostsibneftegaz management held an informal meeting for students, during which young enterprise employees held a quiz and a masterclass entitled «Try out a profession».

Rosneft provides comprehensive support to the Siberian Federal University, including developing its material and technical base, awarding corporate grants and scholarships to teachers and students, and offering students opportunities for practical training.

Rosneft’s youth policy aims to attract new, qualified specialists to the Company and help them settle in effectively. In 2024, over 420 university students completed internships at the Company’s enterprises. Over 100 graduates received employment and the status of «Young Specialist», which provides additional opportunities for developing professional competencies.
