RN-Uvatneftegaz (part of Rosneft’s oil production complex) helped establish a new multi-functional training centre in the Tyumen Technopark. The project was implemented under an agreement between Rosneft and the Government of the Tyumen Region.
Rosneft actively supports social projects aimed at creating favourable living conditions in the regions where it operates. The Company places great emphasis on educational and cultural initiatives.
The project involved renovating the 300 square metre space, installing ventilation and communication systems, and furnishing and equipping the space. State-of-the-art digital equipment and high-resolution video panels enable the creation of new educational programmes, the development of innovative technologies and the exchange of experience.
The co-working centre plans to organise trainings, seminars and master classes for students, young scientists and technology entrepreneurs. Training activities aim to develop skills in project management, systems analysis and effective communication.
On the opening day, specialists from Rosneft’s Tyumen Research Centre held a competition for students of profile classes on the design and construction of a horizontal well. The future oil workers were given the task of «building» a well within a geological section and demonstrating the most efficient penetration of an imaginary productive formation and the accuracy of the penetration.
The new space will contribute to the Tyumen Technopark’s goals of developing new technologies and promoting high-tech products in such industries as oil and gas production and processing, ecology and environmental management, and information technologies. The co-working area will complement the Technopark’s main activities — business incubator, regional engineering centre, prototyping centre and coding school.
