Syzran Refinery is included into Samara refinery group of Rosneft.
Construction of Syzran Refinery was started before the Great Patriotic War and the first batch of oil products was produced in 1942.
The plant processes West Siberian oil, oil from Orenburg fields and also oil produced by the Company in Samara region. The plant produces a wide range of petroleum products, including high-quality motor fuel of K5 class, low-sulfur marine fuel RMLS 40 type E II, bitumen.
Low-waste and resource-saving technologies are being introduced and environmental protection facilities are being developed as part of the modernization activities.
The environmental policy of Syzran Refinery was recognized as one of the best in the international competition "Leader of Russian Environmental Activities".
