Achinsk Refinery of Eastern Petroleum Company (VNK) is the only large refinery in Krasnoyarsk Territory and it plays an important role in the oil products market of the adjacent regions.
The first product of the refinery was onbtained in December 1982. The refinery has been a part of Rosneft since May 2007.
The plant processes oil from Siberian fields supplied through a system of main pipelines.
The products are mainly sold in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and in the adjacent regions. Petroleum products are shipped by rail and road.
In 2020 Achinsk Refinery organized the production of low-sulfur marine fuel RMLS-40, which meets IMO 2020 requirements, in 2021, the production of road bitumen BND-100/130 as per GOST 33133-2014 was started.
