Rosneft was awarded the General Partnership of XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi. The Company has become exclusive oil supplier by winning the Organizing Committee contest in ‘Petroleum’ category. Rosneft has been successfully cooperating with Russian Olympic and Paralympic Committees for already some years. The Company has supported Russian national teams at the Summer and Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games since 2010.

Rosneft is supplying fuel to the Organizing Committee of the Games, the Olympic and Paralympic Committees, the Russian Olympic team and state corporation Olympstroy. Solely as part of preparation for the Olympic Games, the Company supplied about 23,000 tons of fuel.

One of the key priorities of Rosneft is to provide organizers and guests of the Olympic Games with premium fuel. Rosneft fuel is produced and repeatedly tested so as to guarantee engine protection and ride comfort. Rosneft project implementation for the Olympic Games provides reliable fuel supply chain management, and fueling of purpose-built vehicles during the Olympic Games.

Rosneft has built 7 modern specialized filling stations in Adler, Hostinsky, and Central districts of Sochi to provide stable fuel supply for consumers.
