At a meeting on October 18, Rosneft’s Board of Directors reviewed the Company’s main operating and financial results under the Russian standards for 1H 2008.

Rosneft won a Grand prix for best overall investor relations by a large-cap company within IR Magazine Russia & CIS Awards 2008.

Rosneft ranked 6th in the Platts 2008 “Top 250 Energy Companies” list, which is the highest rank among Russian companies.

On October 15, 2008, Rosneft’s Senior Vice President Sergey Kudryashov and TNK-BP’s Chief Operating Officer Tim Summers took part in the launch of an oil pumping station at the Verkhnechonskoye oil and condensate field (Irkutsk region).

Today, on October 15, 2008, TNK-BP announced that it commenced deliveries of crude oil produced at the Verkhnechonskoye field (VC) to the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean Pipeline (ESPO).
