In H1 2010, Rosneft’s revenues increased by 57% year-on-year, to USD 30.2 bln. The increase was due to the growth of crude oil production by 8.6%, higher crude oil and petroleum product prices and increase in volumes of more efficient sales through own marketing network. In Q2 2010, the Company’s revenues amounted to USD 15.4 bln, which is an increase of 5% quarter-on-quarter.

Rosneft’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders was held in Saint Petersburg on June 18, 2010. Holders of 97.7% of Rosneft shares registered to participate in the meeting. The 2009 annual report and accounts were approved at the meeting, as well as the distribution of Company net profit, totaling RUR 208.2 billion.

On June 17 Rosneft Oil Company and Chevron Corporation announced in Novo-Ogarevo execution of mutual agreements outlining key principles of future joint exploration activity planned for Rosneft’s Shatsky Ridge off-shore license in the Black Sea.

On June 5 in Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) a ceremony took place to mark the commencement of work on a prospective area development project to be jointly implemented by Rosneft and Crescent Petroleum Company International Limited (UAE).
