Born in 1960. Holds degrees from Tyumen State University and International Academy of Business (Moscow).

From 1993 to 1996 – Head of Evikhon; Evikhon-2; and Yuganskpromfinco.

From 1996 – Deputy Head of the Nefteyugansk Administration; First Deputy Head of the Nefteyugansk region and Head of the Poikovsky settlement Administration.

From 2000 to 2003 – Federal Inspector in the Nenets Autonomous District of the Administration of the Authorized Representative of the Russian President in the Northwestern Federal District.

From 2003 to 2008 – General Director of OJSC Severneftegazprom.

From 2008 to 2009 – Vice President of Rosneft.

From 2009 – First Vice President of Rosneft, responsible for production and capital construction projects.

Since September 6, 2010 - President of Rosneft.
